Hazel posts a TikTok filmed in Steve and Eddie’s bedroom that starts as she says, “So, Pop has basically been moping–”

“I’m not moping,” Steve interrupts from somewhere off camera.

“He’s been moping all day,” Hazel continues, “Because Dad isn’t wearing his ring.”

She flips the camera and zooms in on a ceramic dish on one bedside table to show that it’s currently housing a small pile of rings, including the silver band matching the one Steve is wearing on the ring finger of his left hand.

She pans over to Steve, who’s sitting in bed with his iPad.

“Your dad is a grown man,” he says, not looking at the camera, “If he wants to pretend to be single for a day, that’s totally fine.”

From even further off camera, Eddie can be heard saying, “Alright,” and he appears in the doorway a moment later.

“Enough with the slander. I took my ring off because someone,” he pauses to look pointedly at Steve, “conned me into doing yard work with him this weekend and there was so much dirt under there it could’ve grown its own weeds.”

The TikTok cuts to Steve saying, “Hey, no judgment from me. If you want the world to think you're available to see what happens, more power to you. I personally don't get it, but–”

“Oh my god.”

The video cuts again to Eddie putting the ring back on.

“Happy now, princess?” he asks.

Hazel pans the camera back over to Steve in time to catch a smug nod.

Later, when both the camera and Hazel are gone, Eddie says, “I really don’t know what you’re worried about, man.”

“Uh, do you really not have any idea how good-looking you are?” Steve replies, “I’m not worried about you. I’m worried about everyone else.”

“Steve, when I see someone as old as us who is both hot and not wearing a ring, my first thought is to wonder what’s wrong with them.”

Why am I kinda obsessed with this idea?🤭 (this kinda came out as a drabble, im sorryy)

I'm seeing an 'enemies to lovers' trope here. You met him at the ice rink, you were practicing a new movement that was getting a bit too hard to perform when the whole local team suddenly took over the rink. You approached the guy that seemed to be the captain - angry that they didn't have the decency to talk to you before wordlessly kicking you out. The guy introduced himself as Cregan Stark, and you immediately recognized his face from the posters on every place in Winterfell; it was a small town, and people like him would obviously get praised by his neighbors. You didn't like him at all, especially when he didn't even apologize to you.

Regardless of that situation, you still came back to the rink afterwards, using the only place available for you to train. Occasionally, your coach would be with you - and some days Cregan would arrive early and he would watch you from the bleachers, curious to know why he hasn't been able to stop thinking about you. Of course, you didn't notice him at first, but after a while his intense gaze was easily perceived by you. After a few days and once your training finished, he approached you and apologize for 'the incident of the other day' - you didn't think too much about it, but you accepted the apology. That's when all started.

You still were a bit reluctant to make acquaintance with him, noticing how he would act so different and tougher around his peers but funny and easygoing with you - almost like a Dany Zuko situation. But regardless of his odd attitude changes, you would still accept going out with him after his practice. You laughed - a lot. Cregan become addicted to the sound of it, getting butterflies each time he would hear it. You had a great time, secretly wanting to repeat the occasion. You hang out a couple times, until he invited you to one of his games; and you accepted.

Throughout the entire game you would see him get beat and push around, holding your breath each time he would fall on the ice; you never knew what was that all about. Things got out of hand when you saw how he would push someone from the opposite team, resulting in a fight that would make everyone gasp; your heart beating faster once you saw blood running down his nose and him being guided towards the dressing rooms. Your body reacted by itself and before you knew you were standing in front of him, holding tissues up his nose and laughing at his antics. That was the day you knew you liked him - that you really, really liked him. It was the day of your first kiss too.

Weeks from that, everytime he was on the ice rink he had you - his number one supporter - on the bleaches, cheering at him and cursing at anyone who dares to put a hand on the man you loved. And whenever you had a presentation, after spinning around and doing your tricks on the ice, you would always have to your number one fan waiting for you with a giant smile and a bouquet of flowers on his hand, ready to take you home to celebrate your victories on the privacy of your room. another episode of robbie being exactly like eddie and it being steve’s problem

Steve is in the car one day with his three-year-old daughter Robbie when she pipes up from the backseat, “Papa, we gotta go to the store.’

“We do?” he asks, and he glances in the rearview to see that she’s looking idly out the window.

He allows himself a moment to ponder if they might actually need to stop for something that he’s forgotten about – it wouldn’t be the first time his kids’ memories had out-performed his own. He’s pretty positive they don’t need to stop for anything though.

“Yup,” Robbie replies.

“Why do we need to go to the store?”

She goes quiet long enough for Steve to wonder if maybe she got distracted looking at something out the car window and forgot she’d been asked a question, but then she says, “I wanna buy something.”

Steve pauses because – for one – her little toddler voice turns something into som-ping, which is so stinking cute, but also because it’s yet another reason this kid is exactly like Eddie.

To a damn T.

He sighs.

“What do you want to buy?”

“Ummm…” Another long pause, “I wanna buy something for…for…I wanna buy something but I don’t remember anymore.”

“Hm,” Steve hums, “Wonder where you got that one from.”

Eddie.

She got it from Eddie and all the times he comes back from Walmart with a receipt longer than their daughter is tall saying, “Shit, totally forgot what I was there for.”

“I just wanna buy something,” Robbie continues.

Steve lets out another sigh, pretending as he does that he doesn't adore the way that Robbie is turning out to be just like Eddie (because he loves Eddie, even if his relationship with money is a little questionable).

“Okay, you and Daddy are not allowed to go shopping together,” Steve tells her, “Ever.”

This was definitely not their smartest idea, with Tyson being the EVP of a thriving wrestling company and Gionna being one of WWE's biggest stars, but that didn't stop them at this point. LIV!! I have questions regarding groomzilla iwaizumi…how can he taste test the cake if he stopped eating refined sugar? Or do you have the cake ordered before his…diet? groomzilla iwa DOES break his own STRICT no refined sugar diet to do the cake tasting, and when he gets one (1) single blemish the next day he swears up and down that it was all the cake's fault.

i think he chooses something simple but pretty for the flowers—very classic but not over the top. i like the idea that he ends up choosing something like his mom's favourite flowers, the ones she always used to get on special occasions when he was little, and you're happy to go along with it because you love her and him (and because they're beautiful.) he does ABSOLUTELY have a bit of a mental breakdown though when he realizes how expensive wedding flowers are though.

i genuinely don't think that iwa EVER had a single thought or expectation about what his wedding would be like when he was younger, so pinterest/moodboards were nowhere near his radar—he regularly says stuff like "god i should have started planning this a decade ago" when he's frustrated with vendors/timelines/etc and it makes you laugh because you knew him a decade ago and there's no way in hell teenage/early 20s iwa would have cared about that stuff.

it's literally like he woke up one day, saw the ring he put on your finger, and became this deranged version of himself. (he does kind of secretly like when you/makki/mattsun/oikawa tease him about being a groomzilla tho bc it's close to godzilla.)
